About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Amphenol Tcs De México, S.A. De C.V.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify adherence to quality policies and procedures that govern the company.
  • Manage the ISO 9001 quality management system, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Investigate and evaluate out-of-specification raw materials and production rejections, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare and document raw material deviations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Conduct internal audits on the quality system, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Monitor and analyze quality metrics, including OOBA results, to drive process improvements and optimize quality performance.

  • Apply probability and statistics to inform decision-making, ensuring data-driven quality management.
  • Initiate and manage internal and external corrective actions, ensuring effective resolution of quality issues.
  • Lead communication and coordination efforts, including meetings and follow-up on customer complaints and supplier issues.
  • Responsible for evaluating and disposing of client returns, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Participate in information meetings with supervisors and line leaders, providing quality updates and insights.
  • Plan, schedule, and administer projects assigned, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
  • Prioritize work activities in coordination with production area needs, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Ensure compliance with the quality system, promoting a culture of quality excellence.
  • Interact professionally with internal and external clients and suppliers, building strong relationships and driving quality outcomes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to company policies and regulations.
  • Participate in internal quality audits, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Support special projects and activities inherent to the position, driving quality excellence and business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, regulations, and provisions, promoting a culture of quality and integrity.
Requirements
  • English language proficiency (spoken and written), 90% or higher.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or in a related quality role.
  • Knowledge of quality engineering methodologies and principles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electronic engineering, or a related field.
  • Passport and visa to travel to the United States (if required).
  • Self-direction, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive attitude, with a focus on customer service and supplier management.
  • Capacity for analysis and synthesis in problem-solving.
