The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Accounting Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for the day-to-day reconciliation of various Balance Sheet accounts and financial review.
Key Responsibilities:- Reconcile and review Site financial and Lease information.
- Leverage improvements from Site Audit findings to meet our Controls and Compliance requirements.
- Manage Expense Payables to ensure timely and accurate accruals, including Financial Shared Services (FSS) assistance with Accounts Payable management.
- Participate in the month-end and year-end financial close, including balance sheet review and reconciliations.
- Execute continuous improvement of processes and reporting through Transactional lean initiatives and ad-hoc reporting as needed.
- Accountable for the reconciliation and completion of the balancing of transmitted financial information.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution.
- 2-4 years relevant experience in financial and accounting analysis.
- Strong analytical skills, written and verbal communication skills, and presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pick up new tools and technologies, adapt quickly, and multi-task.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- MBA or other certification.
- Knowledge of S-W systems – OneStream, Oracle, Oracle Cloud, OnBase, Access, etc.
- Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices.
Location: Mexico City - Polanco
