At Micron Technology, we are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Operations Lead to join our team in Guadalajara, Mexico. As the IAM Operations Lead, you will be responsible for establishing and leading our IAM operations at this new site, working closely with our global security leaders to drive team strategy, operational improvements, automation, and industry-leading practices.

We are looking for a strong leader with experience running operations teams within the IAM space, who can provide seamless coverage and support to our IAM team in India. You will be responsible for developing and implementing IAM policies, procedures, and best practices, as well as administering and overseeing authentication mechanisms such as Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and identity federation.

The IAM Operations Lead will also lead the administration of IAM systems, including user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews, conducting regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for providing guidance and mentorship to team members, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of IAM principles, technologies, and best practices
  • Experience with IAM tools, platforms, and integrations
  • Good understanding of systems such as Active Directory, LDAP, and other directory services
  • Experience with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and entitlement policy administration
  • Excellent prioritization capabilities and a proven ability to implement broad plans with little guidance
  • Excellent leadership, mentorship, motivational, and team management skills
