Job Title: React Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled React Developer to join our team in Mexico City, Mexico. As a React Developer, you will be responsible for writing code, creating unit testing, and assisting with debugging and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write high-quality code and create unit testing to ensure the stability and reliability of our web applications.
  • Assist with debugging and documentation to ensure that our codebase is well-maintained and easy to understand.
  • Participate in scrum ceremonies and adhere to standards placed by our clients.
  • Perform code reviews to ensure that our code meets the highest standards of quality and maintainability.
  • Attend meetings and collaborate with the team to ensure that our projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.

Requirements:

  • Up to 3 years of experience working with React or Next.js.
  • Familiarity with Contentful, including understanding the product, navigating the content modeling, querying against it using the REST API, and creating custom apps by hooking up 3rd party APIs.
  • SCSS (Emotion) experience.
  • Understanding of Git and branch management/strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and identify and recommend solutions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or similar coding academy with relevant real-world experience.
  • Experience working with consumer frontend experiences.
  • Experience working with content management systems.
  • Prior media experience is a plus.
