As a Software Product Specialist at Hexagon Mining, you will serve as an expert on how products under your responsibility work and how they are used by customers. Successful candidates will have a solid troubleshooting background and the ability to work with various groups from service and support teams to product development. This role requires the ability to work independently and handle sensitive customer interactions.
Main Responsibilities
- Serves as functional product expert.
- Serves as expert on how the product is used by the customer.
- Reviews enhancement requests for duplication and alignment with product strategy.
- Delivers product kit configurations and supporting artifacts.
- Provides usability requirements to product engineering.
- Ensures product functionality deliverables meet product requirements & specifications.
- Provides product training including functional, installation, and support training to sales, service, and support teams.
- Provides technical sales support.
Requirements
- 3 years of field support in mining technology.
- Strong accountability in planning/organization, and teamwork.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel to remote mining locations and participate in activities located in mining environments.
- Ability to work independently and be fully accountable.
- Strong sense of urgency & responsibility.
- Strong organizational skills and work ethics.
