As a key member of our product engineering team, you will be responsible for driving the Whirlpool Product Development process, including simulation of virtual prototypes, build of physical prototypes, and cost reduction initiatives.
**Responsibilities**
* Drive/support simulation of virtual prototypes and build of physical prototypes per V&V Plan
* Document the revision of parts used in builds using baselines
* Work closely with the product engineering team to lead and participate in cost reduction, new product introduction, and regulatory initiatives
* Participate on manufacturing plant reviews for quality, new product introduction, and regulatory issues
* Budget expenses administration
* Support on the development and monitors project schedules
* Documented reusable knowledge to support continuous improvement of architecture development and future Production Development Projects
