**Job Summary**

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager III to lead our Scrum teams in Tijuana, Mexico. As a leading company in scientific research and innovation, we value integrity, intensity, innovation, and involvement.

**Key Responsibilities**:

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Standups, Grooming, Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospectives.

Coach the team in Agile practices and guide them in self-organization and cross-functionality.

Assist the team in removing impediments and resolving conflicts to maintain flawless project execution.

Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and coach new team members on Scrum and SAFe methodologies.

Navigate through conflicts and manage external and internal disputes effectively.

**Production Release Management**:

Create RFCs and related artifacts for production releases.

Communicate and coordinate with dependent teams for required support.

Manage production release calls and ensure all SOP activities are completed.

Maintain oversight of INC tickets assigned to the team and follow up with requesters for confirmation once issues are resolved.

Appropriately manage xMatter schedules to ensure efficient release management.

**Process Improvement**:

Continuously work on process improvements to optimize team performance.

Encourage experimentation and learning to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Measure and report on the effectiveness of Scrum processes and implement necessary adjustments to ensure world-class project delivery.

**Collaboration and Communication**:

Represent the team in various meetings and calls, such as SOS, ART Sync, Joint ART Sync calls, major release calls, and defect triage calls.

Facilitate communication and collaboration within the team and across the organization.

Ensure clear and transparent communication of project goals, priorities, and progress.

Work closely with various teams and individuals to ensure efficient collaboration and meet project goals.

**Requirements**:

5+ years of experience leading Scrum teams.

Extensive experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Proven track record of successfully leading Scrum teams.

In-depth understanding of software development processes and lifecycle.

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Advanced Scrum Master certifications (e.g., A-CSM, CSP-SM).

Other Agile certifications like PMI-ACP or SAFe are beneficial.

**Soft Skills**:

Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide and inspire the team.

Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills to foster collaboration and effective communication.

Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills to address challenges and maintain a positive team dynamic.

Ability to influence and bring about positive transformations to drive continuous improvement.

Proficiency in conflict management and helping teams navigate through conflicts to ensure smooth project execution.

**Technical Proficiency**:

Familiarity with Agile tools and software, such as Jira, Confluence, etc.

Understanding of the technical aspects of software development is a plus.
