About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Cloud Engineer with expertise in network automation to join our team at Capgemini Engineering. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and developing internal tools focused on network automation, self-service tooling, and integration of systems to support operational teams.

In this position, you will:

  • Work closely with development and network engineering teams to design and develop web-based tooling for network automation, cloud automation, self-service tooling, microservices, and underlying applications as needed.
  • Design and manage databases, stored procedures, and applications to ensure seamless data management and integration.
  • Implement object-oriented design and multi-tier client-server architecture to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Develop and integrate containerization technologies to streamline deployment and maintenance processes.
  • Integrate with other services and applications via RESTful APIs to ensure seamless communication and data exchange.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Fullstack Development with expertise in Python (3+ years), ReactJS or Angular frameworks (3+ years), and RESTful and HTTP services (3+ years).
  • Experience working with Java/Springboot and/or NodeJS, proficiency in database knowledge (SQL, MongoDB, Redis) and HTML5/CSS.
  • Understanding of containerized methodologies and deployments utilizing Kubernetes or Docker.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of operations around Linux, Unix operating systems.
  • Advanced English language skills.
