Your Responsibilities:
The Plant Quality Leader will cultivate a quality-centric culture throughout the entire facility, ensuring that our products consistently meet or surpass customer expectations. This role is pivotal in promoting continuous enhancement of product quality through a robust quality management framework, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulatory standards.
Key Duties Include:
- Fostering a quality-driven environment by overseeing Quality Control, Laboratory, and Compliance teams.
- Building a diverse and high-performing workforce capable of driving growth while maintaining compliance.
- Providing strategic direction and vision for quality improvement initiatives.
- Identifying critical leverage points to enhance quality outcomes.
- Establishing credibility with management to improve product design and supply quality.
- Ensuring Quality Control and Assurance throughout various manufacturing stages, from raw material intake to distribution, guaranteeing products meet or exceed company standards.
- Leading the implementation and management of the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with corporate policies and local regulations.
- Regularly analyzing quality systems to ensure the integrity of our QMS and reporting any issues to senior management.
- Acting as the primary liaison for third-party and regulatory inspections and audits.
- Overseeing document management of company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Managing the Change Control process within operations.
- Implementing continuous improvement initiatives through collaboration with operational teams, applying best practices.
- Overseeing Supplier Quality Management and evaluation programs.
- Managing calibration programs and standards.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Department, preferably within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) companies.
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
- A minimum of 2 years in Supplier Quality Management.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field (Industrial, Chemical, Packaging, etc.).
- Intermediate proficiency in English for effective communication and report generation.
- Intermediate skills in MS Office applications, including Excel and Power BI.
- In-depth knowledge of quality data management systems and statistical process control.
- Experience with digital QMS systems.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance management, particularly ISO 9000.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent collaboration and partnership skills.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership and influence capabilities.
