• Maintain inventory levels and manage system parameters to optimize procurement processes.

• Coordinate with purchasing, planning, and production departments to ensure effective exchange of information.

• Negotiate prices, schedule changes, and coordinate supplier deviations with requisitioning departments.

• Maintain contact with suppliers to advise on changes affecting production and ensure compliance with environmental standards.

• Assist in training junior buyers and provide professional direction to other buyers as needed.

• Research and analyze purchasing data to develop plans and procedures that meet or exceed divisional objectives.

• Ensure compliance with Eaton's Quality System and Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.

**Requirements:**

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or industrial engineering, or at least three years' experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

• Working knowledge of MRP systems and just-in-time concepts.

• SAP experience preferred.

• Strong background in developing, bidding, and negotiating contracts.

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimum direction or supervision.

• Ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization.
