Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to join our team at Jabil Circuit. In this role, you will analyze the logistics function of our site and recommend best practices to drive efficiency and improve our supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all necessary manual system transactions for materials functions or transaction types, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor shipments of materials, products, or finished goods between our site and other Jabil locations or partners, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Interact with other departments or areas to expedite shipments of materials efficiently, resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Process freight claims for lost or damaged freight, researching and resolving exceptions in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile discrepancies in inventory records, performing Stop-Ship segregation and status updates as needed.
  • Provide customer/management reports on accurate inventory levels, as well as weekly and monthly performance metrics.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, applying critical thinking skills to optimize supply chain processes.
  • Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages, with the ability to operate a personal computer using a Windows-based operating system and related software.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence, read and understand visual aids, and apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, as well as compute rate, ratio, and percent, and draw and interpret graphs.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
