Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Tax Analyst to join our Mexico Tax team at CEMEX. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building business intelligence projects using various data sources and tools.

Main Responsibilities
  • Business Intelligence Development: Interpret business requirements to develop innovative data analysis and reporting projects, utilizing data analysis to find insights for audits and collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams to understand and address business issues.
  • Data Management: Handle large volumes of data and ensure their integrity and accuracy, translating complex data into clear and actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Process Optimization: Optimize analysis processes and tools to enhance efficiency and quality of results.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 2+ years performing data analytics, with experience in MS Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), SQL Server, and tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Snowflake.
  • Skills: Ability to learn and improve business processes, with desirable skills including tax and/or accounting experience, experience with SAP information, C# programming experience, VBA programming experience, and machine learning models.
Internal/External Relations

As a Digital Tax Analyst, you will work closely with the Mexico Tax Department, Central Tax, Controllership, and Functional Areas (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, etc.).
