About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing internal areas of opportunity through the DMAIIC methodology and tools of excellence in processes. Your primary goal will be to reduce manufacturing costs and drive continuous improvement in our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct assignments encompassing complete projects or portions of major projects, utilizing your expertise to drive results.
  2. Determine methods and techniques to be used or adapt standard methods to meet variations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  3. Coordinate phases of work with outside vendors, fostering strong relationships and ensuring seamless collaboration.
  4. Identify, design, and develop the necessary equipment to support our manufacturing processes.
  5. Perform material tests to ensure quality and compliance.
  6. Study processes to implement improvements, leveraging your analytical skills to drive positive change.
  7. Responsible for preparing and managing specifications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  8. Assist technicians and engineers with unusual problems, providing expert guidance and support.
  9. Responsible for purchasing and designing equipment that meets safety and environmental requirements.
  10. Perform activities of process/product validation, ensuring our products meet the highest standards.
  11. Supervise, coordinate, and technically revise the work of a limited group of technicians, providing leadership and guidance.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • B.S. Engineering degree or M.S. Engineering degree, with a strong foundation in engineering principles and practices.
  • Generally requires (2-4) years related experience, with a proven track record of success in process engineering.
  • Preferably knowledge in the medical industry, with a strong understanding of good manufacturing practices and documentation.
  • Experiment design, SPC knowledge, and management of statistical procedures are essential skills for this role.
  • Oral and written communication in Spanish and English, preferably, with strong comprehension of standard costs and work standards.
  • Process Engineer Senior and Staff: Knowledge of productive processes, with a strong understanding of experimental engineering techniques.
