At Skyworks, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Failure Analysis Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for analyzing and resolving complex technical issues related to our high-performance analog semiconductors.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough failure analysis of reliability, STR, and Qual-related failures using advanced tools and techniques.
- Review and analyze data from various sources, including datalog and csv files, to identify root causes of failures.
- Communicate effectively with design teams to isolate and resolve failure modes.
- Perform a range of failure analysis techniques, including external visual inspection, curve tracing, RF bench testing, X-ray analysis, thermal analysis, IR inspection, probe testing, and emission microscopy.
- Generate comprehensive reports detailing failure modes and root causes to inform assembly and test processes.
- Provide coaching and technical guidance to colleagues as needed.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Failure Analysis Engineer.
- Excellent communication skills in English (90% or more) to interact with design and reliability engineers globally.
- In-depth knowledge of circuit analysis and RF technology, with experience using failure analysis tools such as curve tracers, network analyzers, thermal analyzers, and emission microscopes.
- Good background in assembly and wafer fab processes.
