Job Summary
We are seeking a Cashier Assistant to join our team at Solaz a Luxury Collection Resort Los Cabos. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for processing customer payments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring exceptional guest service.
Responsibilities
- Process customer payments, handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods
- Maintain accurate records of sales, returns, and refunds
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
- Provide exceptional guest service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and guests
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the food and beverage industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures
