Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planning Specialist to join our team at Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Companies. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating production activities to ensure seamless execution of our master production schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze trade-offs in the production schedule to balance customer service and inventory levels.
  • Conduct rough-cut capacity planning to ensure resources are available to meet production plan requirements.
  • Gather information to identify constraints and factor them into production planning.
  • Analyze inputs affecting production planning and make adjustments to the plan as needed.
  • Monitor key metrics to ensure process control and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Create detailed product recovery plans as needed and communicate with the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, as well as Environmental Management System (EMS) responsibilities.
  • Develop and implement planning models to support lean scheduling initiatives.
  • Maintain planning parameters within the MRP advanced Planning System.
  • Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to next management level.
  • Ensure personal and company compliance with all Federal, State, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Generally, requires (0-2) years related experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • Understanding of supply chain in an ERP environment and its impact on customer service and inventory.
  • Experience with multi-site operations preferred.
  • Experience with the implementation and use of MRP and lean planning systems.
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred.
  • GMP/ISO knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to influence business partners to achieve metrics.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge.
