We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Capital One. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in driving a major transformation within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with expertise in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full stack systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and experiment with new technologies to improve our systems.
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences for our customers.
- Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Ruby, and Go, as well as container orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud management tools like Ansible and Terraform.
Requirements:
- Intermediate-Advanced English fluency.
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least 8 years of experience in DevOps Engineering.
- At least 4 years of experience with Cloud Native technologies.
- At least 6 years of Unix or Linux system administration experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in people management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 9+ years of DevOps Engineering experience.
- 6+ years of experience with coding and scripting.
- 4+ years of experience in infrastructure design, implementation, and delivery.
- 3+ years of experience with monitoring tools.
- 3+ years of experience with container orchestration services.
- 3+ years of experience working with Agile Development Practices.
