Food and Beverage Position Overview

Marriott International, Inc is looking for a highly motivated Server to join our food and beverage team at the Sheraton Mexico City Maria Isabel Hotel.

Estimated Salary: $20-$30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled and attentive Server to provide exceptional service to our guests. Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving food courses and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Setting tables according to event type and service standards.
  • Answering questions on menu selections and communicating with the kitchen regarding menu inquiries.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of work areas, china, and glassware throughout the day.
  • Completing closing duties, including restocking items and turning off lights.
  • Presenting accurate checks to guests and processing payments.

Requirements:

To be successful as a Server, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
