Lear Corporation, a leading Tier 1 automotive supplier, is seeking a highly skilled Lead Product Engineer to join our E-Systems division in Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua. As a key member of our product engineering team, you will be responsible for coordinating the development of automotive wiring harnesses, ensuring timely delivery of reliable information, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and cost savings.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the activities of product engineers and drafters to ensure seamless harness development.
- Draft and manage technical documentation, including bills of materials, cutting sheets, and visual aids, to meet client specifications and implementation timelines.
- Lead the control of engineering changes and design reviews to ensure compliance with established procedures.
- Develop and implement finished product plans, coordinate with manufacturing teams, and load technical information into manufacturing systems.
- Propose design improvements and cost savings during manufacturing, and generate and submit cost studies as needed.
- Coordinate the release of information for new components required by engineering changes, and analyze manufacturing specifications.
Requirements
- Industrial Engineering, Mechatronic, or related field degree.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position in the Automotive Wiring Harness Industry.
- Advanced level of proficiency in Excel and English.
