About the Role

Honeywell International, Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer for our organization to serve as part of a team that delivers cutting-edge data engineering solutions for the Global Integrated Supply Chain function. As a Data Engineer, you will build strong relationships with leadership to effectively deliver contemporary data analytics solutions and contribute directly to business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with product owners to identify data requirements and design data pipelines using Snowflake (for data warehouse) and Databricks (for advanced analytics data pipeline).
  • Develop data pipelines for projects using established standards, guidelines, and data governance rules.
  • Design and develop data models for machine data originated from manufacturing plants.
  • Support the development of real-time data pipelines for manufacturing IoT.
  • Provide solutions for operations issues and participate in problem-solving.
  • Partner with IT support teams on production processes, continuous improvement, and production deployments.

Requirements

  • Strong business and customer focus.
  • Self-starter with the drive to unlock the true power of big, noisy, messy, real-world data.
  • Demonstrated experience working with multi-terabyte-sized data sets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Decision Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in building data engineering pipelines or ETLs, Data Pipeline, Data Warehouse, Data Analytics, SQL.
  • 3+ years of experience in SQL.
  • Strong understanding of SQL, relational databases, columnar data warehouses, and data modeling.
  • Ability to work with product owners and convert functional requirements into technical designs without much supervision.
  • Experience in working on Azure cloud services.
  • Experience in building data engineering pipelines for performance and scalability.
  • Understanding of Big Data ecosystem.

  • Integrated Supply Chain process and data experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in Snowflake/Databricks/Python/Scala.
