Key Responsibilities- Design and develop manufacturing processes for current and new tractors, including assembly processes and lean manufacturing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals in safety, quality, deliveries, and efficiency.
- Establish and maintain routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, and quality plans for current operations and new parts or programs.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for current operations, and investigate and implement solutions to improve manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implement plans to support lean manufacturing through the Deere Production System, including designing operations layouts and improving material flow and material presentation.
- Lead team studies related to capacity, energy, productivity, and efficiency, and lead analysis, development, and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technology.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience implementing lean manufacturing strategies.
- Experience in developing and implementing assembly processes.
- Upper Intermediate English (Spoken and written).
- Teamwork.
- Plan and Act Strategically.
- Capacity to identify process opportunities and improve manufacturing procedures.
- Innovation, identify and develop new process methodologies.
- Tractor Functionality Background.
- Background in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, power systems, etc.).
- Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools.
- Enterprise Product Delivery Process Knowledge (EPDP).
- Knowledge of manufacturing and/or distribution processes, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventative maintenance, and facilities.
- Working knowledge of database management tools, the various loan accounting systems, and process management systems.
