About the RoleWe offer an estimated annual salary of 850,000 - 950,000 MXN, depending on experience, for this challenging position.
This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
The successful candidate will maintain safety equipment inventory, perform periodic safety inspections, monitor hazardous waste removal vendors, and may assist in consolidating hazardous wastes (chemical, radioactive, and/or medical).
Additionally, they will conduct training in emergency response and hazardous material handling, interact with various departments, and recommend corrective action where environmental health and safety hazards exist.
This role also involves industrial hygiene, life safety, and ergonomic compliance-related activities, as well as interacting with others in the administration of the worker's compensation program and the implementation of workplace ergonomics and program solutions.
RequirementsTo be considered for this position, you should have a minimum of 5 years of related experience and a strong understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures.
As a seasoned professional, you will work on problems of diverse scope, analyze data, evaluate identifiable factors, and demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
