Intuitive is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to oversee the cost accounting functions within the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting, with a focus on visibility into product costing and fulfilling internal and shareholder reporting requirements.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Maintain and implement financial management systems and processes to ensure compliance with corporate guidelines and SOX regulations.
- Develop and maintain cost standards, and provide insights to support financial decision-making.
- Supervise a team of cost accountants/analysts, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement system and process improvements.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement best practices in financial management.
- Support the preparation of annual budgets, and provide ad-hoc trends and standard cost analysis.
- Coordinate and analyze the standard revaluation reserve balance, controls, and related activities.
- Ensure that the Company's accounting policies are appropriately applied to all costing-related activities and accounts.
- Collaborate with Product Ops. Finance team to develop and maintain DL and Overhead rates global operations.
- Oversee and monitor the Company's Cost Accounting Policies and Processes.
- Responsible for accurate, timely month-end close process for inventory, manufacturing expenses, and variances.
- Review and audit of BOMs, Routings, labor, and overhead rates.
- Review and audit of cycle counts, ABC-Inventory class, excess and obsolete procedures.
**Requirements:**
- Strong understanding of financial management systems and processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
