We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our Global Business Services (GBS) team.

Your role at Clorox:

  • Support process improvement opportunities that improve the overall efficiency within your area.
  • Provide support to the new SAP S/4 implementation for Record to Report (R2R).
  • Perform monthly and quarterly accounting close activities.
  • Ensure a proper control documentation based on the Risk Controls Matrix applicable to the team.
  • Prepare and Review Balance Sheet account reconciliations.
  • Provide timely external and internal audit support, as needed.
  • Support special project work as required.

What we look for:

  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statements.
  • Experience with SAP S/4 and R2R processes is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written English skills.
  • Attention to detail resulting in consistently reliable, accurate and thorough work.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work effectively in a team environment.
  • SAP, HFM and Blackline experience preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel
