Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Creative Solutions In Healthcare, Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and company policies.
- Monitor residents for adverse effects of medications and report any concerns to the Charge Nurse.
- Record all medication administration accurately and in a timely manner.
- Report any medication errors to the Charge Nurse immediately.
- Maintain the security and integrity of the medication cart and environment.
- Ensure confidentiality and privacy of residents at all times.
- Adhere to infection control policies for medication administration.
- Notify the Charge Nurse of any changes in resident status or complaints.
Requirements:
- Current Medication Administration certification from the state.
- Ability to accurately record information and perform technical procedures.
- Excellent communication and self-discipline skills.
- Demonstrated competence in medication administration.
