Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Creative Solutions In Healthcare, Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and company policies.
  • Monitor residents for adverse effects of medications and report any concerns to the Charge Nurse.
  • Record all medication administration accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Report any medication errors to the Charge Nurse immediately.
  • Maintain the security and integrity of the medication cart and environment.
  • Ensure confidentiality and privacy of residents at all times.
  • Adhere to infection control policies for medication administration.
  • Notify the Charge Nurse of any changes in resident status or complaints.

Requirements:

  • Current Medication Administration certification from the state.
  • Ability to accurately record information and perform technical procedures.
  • Excellent communication and self-discipline skills.
  • Demonstrated competence in medication administration.
