- Technical Leadership: Assist in establishing technical direction across the organization, with a sound and pragmatic approach.
- Deliver Technical Solutions: Deliver on the technical solution to meet the product vision.
- Architecture Principles: Participate in the definition of architecture principles, styles, policies, and standards.
- Coding Activities: Participate in coding activities, such as Proof Of Concept, code reviews, and demonstrators.
- Communication: Communicate strategies, policies, and practices in terms that are meaningful to the engineering group.
- Business Results: Responsible for achieving planned business results by decisions and actions based on professional or technical expertise, business principles, and substantial practical experience.
- Relationship Management: Develops and manages relationships with external vendors and partners, as well as internal customers and providers.
- Quality Assurance: Ensures quality by evaluating designs, test results, development quality standards, and overall product deliverables to requirements.
- Process Improvement: Ensures quality and efficiency by routinely identifying and driving process improvements.
- Project Updates: Attends status meetings to provide project updates to the project management and business ownership teams.
- Problem Resolution: Identifies, resolves, and recommends solutions to standard and non-standard problems.
- Professionalism: Serves as an example of professionalism, dedication, and conscientiousness for the organization.
- Resource Planning: Creates and manages own resource plan.
- Strategic Objectives: Works with Product business owners to ensure solutions meet organization strategic objectives.
- Process Improvement: Identifies and suggests improvements in design, development, and release process of our products.
- Education: BSc or MSc or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience: High degree of experience in application architecture, software design and coding, with emphasis on at least one of embedded and/or security related software development.
- Technical Skills: Experience with C++/C and Linux, Object Oriented Analysis and Design, and Object Oriented Programming.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience translating Business Requirements into solutions, technical leader and coach, aware of applicability of new technologies.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills, including proven success in working with stakeholders with a wide range of technical knowledge.
- Technical Leadership: 5+ years work experience as a technical leader/architect.
- Industry Experience: Extensive experience in payment industry for a minimum of 5 years.
