Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician IV to join our team at Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Companies. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing technical functions under direct supervision, including routine tests and advanced analysis using laboratory instruments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare samples for analysis and perform independent analysis of routine samples using applicable testing methods.
  • Perform advanced analysis that are non-compendial and enter samples in electronic and manual systems of laboratory.
  • Monitor routine tests using laboratory instruments and possess the ability to recognize problems during the analysis.
  • Begin researches for non-conforming laboratory tests and perform the daily execution of calibration/verification of the laboratory instruments.
  • Collect and prepare data for evaluation and file test documentation that have been completed.
  • Perform other similar duties assigned by laboratory management and provide support to internal laboratory, environmental and safety managements.
Requirements
  • Technical career, truncated or in process, High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 6 to 8 years of experience in a laboratory environment with good manufacturing and laboratory practices (GMP's) and (GLP's), executing advanced activities in a progressive manner to a level of Technician 3.
  • Bilingual: English - Spanish.
  • Training in good manufacturing practices (GMP's) and ISO requirements.
  • Knowledge and execution of good laboratory practices (GLP's).
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
