About the Role
Fitch Group, Inc. is seeking a talented professional to join our Funds and Asset Managers team as a Financial Analyst, Senior Financial Analyst, or Associate Director. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global rating agency and contribute to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth analysis of key quantitative and qualitative factors of companies in the Funds and Asset Management sectors.
- Maintain and develop financial models and reports to support rating decisions.
- Participate in meetings with investment management teams to gather information and provide insights.
- Assist senior analysts in maintaining ratings, preparing presentations for rating committees, conducting research, writing reports, and performing surveillance on existing ratings.
Requirements
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to shift fluidly between multiple projects as priorities change.
- Expertise and proficiency in Excel, including programming macros in VBA.
- Other programming languages (C++, RStudio, Python, etc.) is a plus.
- Mutual funds markets and/or pension funds experience is a plus.
- CFA or FRM designation, or candidate, is a plus.
- Relevant experience, especially coverage or knowledge of investment sectors:
- Financial Analyst: 3 – 5 years.
- Senior Financial Analyst: 3 – 5 years.
- Associate Director: 5 – 10 years.
