About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Product Engineering team at Thomson Reuters. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing software applications using a range of technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on the design, implementation, and testing of software applications using Java, JEE, Eclipse, IntelliJ, Web Services, REST API, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular, XML, HTML, CSS, and MVC.
  • Collaborate closely with other developers, testers, project managers, and architects to achieve common goals.
  • Be involved in all phases of application lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Identify areas where existing tools can be improved upon by developing new features and enhancements.
  • Participate in peer code reviews to ensure high-quality standards are met.
  • Follow best practices for software engineering, security, and performance.
  • Contribute towards continuous improvement of processes and technologies used within the organization.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer who possesses a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills. You should have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

Key technologies include Java, JEE, Eclipse, IntelliJ, Web Services, REST API, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular, XML, HTML, CSS, and MVC. Versioning tools include MS Team Foundation Server (TFS) and GIT. Practices include Unit Tests Frameworks Control and CI/CD.
