**Job Summary**:

As a Senior Supply Chain Manager at General Motors, you will lead a team and provide employee development, training, and drive the performance management process. You will also manage an efficient organizational structure and execute deliverables in support of the supply chain organization's business objectives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Guide one of the key areas within the Global Supply Chain to ensure business objectives are met or exceeded in all areas, including customer, quality, service, responsiveness, people, product, and financial initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, within the function, and other functions and suppliers.
  • Support relationship management with logistic suppliers and service providers.
  • Assess complex supply chain issues and lead teams in a cross-functional environment to successfully resolve issues, minimizing impacts to vehicle production.
  • Analyze metrics supporting supplier critical issues or sufficiency plan resolution.
  • Be flexible and work extended and non-core hours to ensure issues are worked to resolution.
  • Travel to plant locations when required for onsite support of launch and build-out.
  • Implement new and innovative strategies to tackle complete issues.

**Requirements:**

  • Deep understanding of Supply Chain functions.
  • Ability to understand and assess complex supply chain issues.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
