**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Management Specialist to join our team at Siemens Energy, S. de R.L. de C.V. in Mexico, Queretaro. As a key member of our Wind Power business unit, you will be responsible for executing part purchasing and supply needs for our internal customers throughout North America.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct order management responsibilities for United States based Wind Power warehouses and locations.
- Analyze and constantly optimize the organization's processes to enhance performance.
- Establish, monitor, update, and benchmark metrics to propose measures for improvement.
- Provide analyses as required by Supply Chain Management (SCM).
- Propose and take over responsibility for defined and assigned improvement projects.
- Initiate and implement supplier improvement programs.
- Establish operational vendor relations to manage and monitor vendor performance.
- Identify and resolve vendor conflicts timely in support of customer needs.
- Establish SCM oriented customer relations to meet customer expectations.
- Cooperate with the internal Procurement, Controlling and Logistics functions to ensure acceptance of and adherence to supply chain processes, guidelines, and tools.
- Communicate with external auditors in accordance with management.
- Contribute to projects, work groups and the training of new employees in the area of expertise.
- Bachelor's Degree is required for this role. Bachelor's in business, Engineering or other related discipline preferred.
- 2+ years' demonstrated experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or other related Supply Chain management area.
- Experience in SCM oriented customer relations to meet customer expectations.
- Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office tools including but not limited to Teams, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in manipulating data with spreadsheets (i.E., Microsoft Excel) to guide performance monitoring and decision making.
- Ability to effectively communicate and conduct business in English, in both written and spoken format.
- Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Up to 10% travel within the United States required for this position. Ability to obtain a US visa is required. Active US visa preferred.
The Supply Chain team works in a fast-paced environment, directly impacting the execution and success of the Wind Power business.
