Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Lead to join our team at Assurant, Inc. As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance Operations
    • Perform quality assurance operations related to the test and inspection of electronic devices.
    • Conduct quality inspections following instructions and pre-established guidelines.
  • Process Development
    • Create work instructions for the Quality department in collaboration with the documentation team and Quality Supervisor.
    • Develop and implement formal QA processes to ensure industry-accepted best practices.
  • Training and Development
    • Provide training to new and/or existing employees on 6S and work instructions.
    • Lead and mentor QA team members, as well as manage outside contract testers.
  • Metrics and Reporting
    • Track weekly tasks and metrics.
    • Provide ANSI/AQL results to stakeholders.
  • Leadership and Collaboration
    • Participate in weekly department status update meetings with department supervisors.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality goals are met.
Requirements
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 3 years demonstrated quality experience.
    • Cross training in two or more job areas is required.
  • Skills
    • Ability to use a personal computer and enter data with basic software.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience
    • One year or greater of previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
    • One year or greater of Quality Assurance/Inspection experience.
  • Skills
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
