About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team at NTT DATA, a global leader in digital transformation and consulting. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing cutting-edge cloud-based solutions for our clients.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure DevOps and other DevOps toolsets, including automation, CI/CD pipeline design, and GitOps concepts. You will be responsible for developing and implementing automation strategies for onboarding new developers to Azure DevOps, as well as supporting other automation efforts for ADO, JFrog, Sonar, and internal tools.

You will work closely with our application teams to assist with UAT processes, run data migration scripts, and monitor performance and outcomes. Additionally, you will engage in post-migration support and troubleshooting for app teams and assist in resolving issues related to DevOps toolsets and deployment capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years' experience with Azure cloud platforms, with knowledge of other cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP;
  • 2+ years of experience deploying and managing tools like GitOps, CI/CD pipeline design, and Azure DevOps;
  • 1+ year of coding experience in Python, TypeScript, or GoLang;
  • 1+ year of scripting experience in bash or PowerShell;
  • 4+ years of networking experience, including security, DNS, VPN, cloud, and load balancing;
  • 4+ years of systems administration experience with at least one operating system (Linux or Windows).
Desired Experience & Skills

Apart from the required qualifications, we are looking for candidates with:

  • 1+ year of serverless or container-based architecture experience;
  • 1+ year of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) experience;
  • Advance networking skills, including tcpdump and network flow security analysis;
  • Some sense of advance authentication technologies, such as federated auth and SSO.
