At Cognizant, we are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Senior Technology Migration Project Lead. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead the migration of our customer base from an outdated platform to a soon-to-be-retired one. This initiative is crucial in ensuring seamless integration, security, and potential for future expansion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in program/project management within a technology or software development environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with the product team to establish a prioritized roadmap of customer migrations, considering business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Develop a comprehensive execution plan to facilitate migration activities in partnership with internal and external teams.

Project Management:

  • Oversee all aspects of the migration program, including timeline development, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and budget management.
  • Implement robust reporting processes to track progress, identify potential roadblocks, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Partner Management:

  • Lead the identification, onboarding, and enablement of suitable partners to support migration activities.
  • Establish clear expectations, manage partner relationships, and ensure delivery on partner commitments.

Global Coordination:

  • Orchestrate migration efforts across diverse geographic regions, demonstrating sensitivity to local business needs and cultural differences.
  • Ensure timely and consistent communications and collaboration with teams worldwide.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in program/project management within a technology or software development environment.
  • Proven success in leading complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Understanding of cloud technologies.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a talent for tailoring messaging for various audiences, technical and non-technical.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships, influence stakeholders, and navigate complex organizational structures.
