Key Responsibilities- Manage and Coordinate Tax Audits, Litigation, and Tax Projects
- Ensure Key Controls and Risk Management Processes are Detailed and Implemented
- Oversee the Receipt, Management, and Tracking of Inquiries and Communications to Business Teams and Stakeholders
- Identify and Track New Legislation, Planning, and Policy Trends
- Work with Partner Teams to Conduct Internal Reviews and Risk Assessments
- Provide Mexico Indirect Tax Planning Inputs to Both Local and Global Projects
- Draft Tax Technical Memos and Opinions
- Liaise with Advisors and Tax Authorities on Matters Relating to Mexico Tax Planning
- Analyze and Support Legislative Changes for Mexico Tax Field that Impact Amazon's Businesses

Minimum Requirements- 8+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience
- Experience with Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Essbase, and Oracle Financial Applications
- Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department
- Bachelor's degree or certificate of completion of studies required
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
- CPA or J.D.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
