We are seeking a dedicated Equipment Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team at 890 AVAILMED, S.A. DE C.V.. Reporting directly to the Equipment Management Manager, this role is essential in ensuring the optimal performance of our machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to determine the root cause of issues. Execute repairs in a cost-efficient manner to minimize downtime. Conduct preventive maintenance according to established schedules. Perform calibrations and re-qualifications on equipment as required. Collaborate with process technicians and engineers during the installation and removal of equipment. Analyze and implement corrective actions based on equipment performance reports. Maintain accurate logs of equipment performance and issues. Provide daily updates on equipment functionality. Set up and calibrate laboratory equipment for testing and evaluation purposes. Disassemble and inspect instruments for potential defects. Repair, replace, and balance components and circuitry as needed. Develop solutions for measurement and calibration challenges. Assist in creating plans and procedures for testing, calibration, and repair to ensure precision accuracy. Travel may be required to other facilities or vendor locations. The role may involve both software and hardware maintenance tasks.Qualifications:
Proficient in English communication. A bachelor's degree is typically required. Experience in leading a team of technicians. Skilled in instrument calibration and quality inspections. Quick response to equipment breakdowns. Ability to troubleshoot and arrange for equipment replacements when necessary. Maintain communication with production management regarding progress. Capable of organizing teams to ensure continuous coverage. Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or computerized systems.Benefits:
