**Job Summary**
At Segula Technologies, we are seeking a skilled Core Tester to join our team. As a Core Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our embedded systems.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the definition of Electronic Control Unit (ECU) configuration and setup preparation for testing basic and complex features.
- Manual bench testing and semi-automatic testing.
- Requirements analysis for test cases and test plans creation.
- Support technical peer reviews for test cases and test plans from other junior/int testers.
- Software defect report and analysis and defect resolution.
- Report and resolve test procedure defects to keep improving test plans.
- Support complex feature test execution.
- Support the definition of ECU simulation requirements for bench-level testing.
- Support the troubleshooting of problems/blockers reported by other testers.
- Support the defect validation of critical gating defects.
- Generate and improve documentation to increase efficiency during test runs.
- Support as required, test KPIs generation to monitor test progress, blockers, and test runs completion.
**Requirements**
- Knowledge in cloud or vehicle communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, IP, MQTT, LIN).
- CAN tools (Vector, Intrepid, etc).
- NI HiL automation tools (TestStand).
- Testing techniques - functional, non-functional, performance, integration testing (ISTQB).
- Agile/scrum testing methodologies.
- Test bench/HW SW troubleshooting.
- Knowledge in requirements management tools (Polarion, JIRA, VSEM, Doors).
- Understanding of the V model process.
- Experience on infotainment, connectivity, or driver information testing.
- Python scripting is a plus.
