Wood Mackenzie is seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Valuations Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Power & Renewables division, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining valuation models for renewable assets across the globe.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex valuation models for renewable energy assets, incorporating market-specific government policy documents and revenue implications.
- Closely track the renewable energy market and implement changes to valuation models in a timely manner.
- Contribute to ideation and process improvement for the roll-out of global valuations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate best practices into valuation models.
- Support the Assets Data team in database maintenance and provide data in the required format.
- Establish and maintain a robust renewable industry network.
- Ensure database alignment with official figures from public sources.
- Support automation processes, data collection, and quality control efforts.
Requirements
- Proven analytical capabilities, both qualitative and quantitative.
- Experience or educational background working with financial valuations.
- Demonstrated experience in the renewable/energy industry.
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, communication, and organization skills.
- An engaging nature, capable of connecting with colleagues, clients, and industry stakeholders.
- A deep intellectual curiosity about what drives markets based on economic principles.
- Strong listening and critical thinking skills.
- Fluency in English (additional language skills are a plus).
- Commitment to contributing to a welcoming and inclusive environment.
