Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance on building and facilities equipment, fixtures, and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building and facilities equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine the necessary corrective actions, using technical manuals and blueprints as needed.
- Inspect and test machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
- Replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless maintenance operations and minimize downtime.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least 2 years of related experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
