Customer Program Manager

A2Mac1 is seeking a highly skilled Customer Program Manager to play a crucial role in the scoping phase of strategic engagements and manage projects for OEMs and major suppliers within an international and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Program & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary interface to customers during project execution, maintaining clear and reliable communication at engineering, management, and executive levels.
  • Project Management: Manage strategic projects from the pre-kick-off phase through an efficient engagement ramp-up. Plan, lead and successfully complete customer deliverables, ensuring quality and adherence to client expectations within the allocated timeline and budget.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate and manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Actionable Recommendations: Identify and present actionable recommendations, maintaining a hands-on mentality to drive project success.
  • Quality Assurance: Own the responsibility for the quality of project engagements, ensuring client satisfaction and presenting key findings effectively.
  • Team Guidance: Lead the project delivery team to provide the right output to the customer.
  • Pre-sales Support: Assist in efficient scoping of project content, deliverables & timelines for strategic initiatives, contributing to business growth.
Requirements:
  • Professional Background: Proven expertise in managing complex programs within an automotive and global matrix environment, ideally at OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers within engineering departments.
  • Education: Completed Master's degree (or Bachelor's with 5+ years of relevant work experience) preferably in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or business administration with an engineering extension.
  • Experience: 5+ years of post-graduate consulting experience, with at least 2 years in project management.

  • Technical Curiosity: Strong technical curiosity, with a willingness to learn quickly and a hands-on, player/coach mentality.
  • Project Management: Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Customer Orientation: Customer-oriented working style with a keen sense for business development and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Language Skills: Open-minded personality with self-confidence and excellent English and X language skills.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead oneself and others effectively.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel regularly and spend time on customer sites globally.
  • Cultural Adaptability: Openness to extended stays abroad, especially during the crucial ramp-up phase of strategic engagements.
