Position Overview
As the Local Process Owner for the North American sites, you will oversee the comprehensive travel management process, encompassing everything from travel requests to expense claims.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead the execution of the global mobility program strategy for travel management across all North American locations, ensuring alignment and coordination among sites.
  • Guarantee operational stability by establishing effective support structures and collaborating cross-functionally with departments such as HR and Finance.
  • Maintain compliance in all aspects of the travel process by adhering to global travel regulations and authoring local travel guidelines.
  • Independently manage the needs of various stakeholders through diverse communication channels.
  • Oversee projects within your functional area, focusing on the implementation of Travel Management frameworks that balance both central and local requirements.
Your Profile:
You are a collaborative team player with exceptional communication abilities, capable of fostering sustainable relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You possess strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, enabling you to navigate complex situations and devise effective solutions. Additionally, you approach challenges creatively, seeking innovative methods to enhance processes.

Qualifications:
  • A degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in the travel management sector.
  • Familiarity with legal considerations, particularly those related to travel and payments, along with a solid understanding of the travel industry, especially within the Americas Region.
  • Experience in process design and enhancement, with a strong focus on standardization and harmonization, and the analytical capability to recognize interdependencies.
  • Experience working in international cross-functional teams is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in SAP ERP (FI/HR) or similar systems, as well as Concur.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
