Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Security Test Engineer to join our team at North American Production Sharing De México S.A. De C.V. in a full-time capacity.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Security Architecture, Crypto, Product Security, and IT teams to develop innovative solutions to complex security challenges in large-scale end-to-end chip manufacturing.
  • Design and implement manufacturing fusing workflows for securely provisioning, tracking, and configuring chips via CM and TME cores.
  • Work closely with functional teams (Design, DFT, Design Verification, Software teams, Program Management, and IP-level test engineers) to create test plans prior to chip tape out, ensuring compliance with product lifecycle state (LCS) requirements.
  • Develop and optimize test programs in Java and VB for ATE (93K and UF+) platforms, ensuring scalability and thorough testing before deployment to production.
  • Enhance yield and throughput by streamlining code or fuse programming, and prepare test programs for mass production through reviews and test time reduction.
  • Communicate effectively with the extended fusing team to ensure fusing quality on all chips, and develop solutions to maintain this across various product lines.
  • Design custom digital circuitry to support on-board boot and other product-specific security requirements.
Requirements
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Experience in security HW architecture/design/validation/test related areas of silicon solutions.
  • Experience with ATE and test methodologies, with a preference for Advantest 93K.
  • Familiarity with basic test methodologies, including Boundary Scan, ATPG, MBIST, and test protocols such as TIC and JTAG.
  • OTP/fusing background.
  • Hands-on experience with SOC security manufacturing flows, including key provisioning and VB coding.
  • Engineering degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) languages, including Java and C++.
  • Proficiency with Unix/Linux, with scripting experience in Perl/Python preferred.
