**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Stryker Manufacturing. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and international regulations related to environmental safety.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement environmental health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Investigate health-related complaints and incidents, and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement training programs on environmental health and safety best practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure compliance and stay up-to-date on industry developments.
  • Manage hazardous waste disposal and monitor waste handling practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct regular drills to ensure preparedness.
  • Conduct regular reviews of company policies and procedures to ensure they are aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in environmental health and safety, preferably in an FDA-regulated industry.
  • Experience with ISO 45000 and ISO 14000 international standards programs.
  • Knowledge of fire-fighting systems and environmental incident management.
  • Knowledge of self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and OHSAS safety standards.
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish.
