About the Role

Jabil Circuit is seeking an experienced Automation Manager to lead our Automation Design initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and managing automation projects to meet delivery timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage automation projects to meet delivery timelines and budgets
  • Establish and communicate global and regional automation strategies to the department
  • Build and manage projects through your organization
  • Liaise with site and customers on project requirements, specifications, and timelines
  • Lead the team to review, understand, and interpret requirements and specifications correctly and transform them into design
  • Coach, mentor, and train engineers within the Automation department
  • Review and drive improvement within the site through monitoring of key automation metrics
  • Ensure all engineering time is logged into tracking systems and corresponds to projects
  • Recruit and retain automation talents within the site
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electronics/Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics
  • Minimum 6-8 years of working experience in project management for automation equipment or manufacturing engineering/equipment environment
  • Expert knowledge and skill in project management
  • Advanced knowledge of EMS industries and automation design and installation
