Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Sensata Technologies. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for directing operations with full management for production, facility, equipment maintenance, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Quality Strategies: Collaborate with the site leadership team to achieve short and long-term objectives, providing leadership in execution through a structured approach.
  • Manage Day-to-Day Manufacturing Operations: Oversee activities related to material management and production scheduling to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Manage Resources: Ensure that resources are allocated effectively to meet organizational objectives.
  • Lead and Motivate Teams: Lead and motivate individuals and teams to achieve breakthrough improvements at all levels in the organization.
  • Provide a Safe Working Environment: Ensure a safe and conducive working environment that promotes creativity and innovation.
  • Implement Cost-Effective Systems: Lead activities with the management team to implement cost-effective systems of control.
  • Support Organizational Goals: Support organizational environmental, health, and safety goals and lead efforts in manufacturing.
Requirements
  • Education: A university degree (i.e., Bachelor's degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members.
  • Accountability: Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, including oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Organization Skills: Strong organization, planning, and time management skills to achieve results.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization, including suppliers and/or external customers.
