Accounts Receivable Clerk

**Job Summary**

Expeditors is seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable processes, including receiving, safeguarding, and recording receipts.

**Responsibilities**:

Record receipts in our accounting system and allocate them according to remittance advice, ensuring no receipts are left unallocated at month-end.

Generate and deliver timely statements and perform timely reconciliations.

Provide up-to-date detailed collection notes listing actions on every past-due invoice in our ARCM system.

Maintain a filing system in accordance with internal and local document retention policies.

Produce exception reports for the weekly AR meeting and maintain meeting minutes.

Prepare the bad debt calculation and the bad debt roll forward schedule for the monthly P&L.

Assist the controller with credit tasks in line with the global credit policy.

Assist in internal control evaluations and internal/external audits by preparing required information/documentation.

Support the accounting department with miscellaneous projects and assignments.

**Requirements**:

Basic accounting knowledge.

Strong MS Office skills, including intermediate-level Excel skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills and a proven history of providing exceptional customer service.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Good data entry and computer skills.

Professional appearance and attitude.

Reliable and accurate.
