Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Planning Analyst to join our team in Guadalajara, North Campus. As a key member of our materials function, you will play a critical role in managing and planning customer demand, analyzing data to support multiple areas, and ensuring on-time and efficient deliveries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track materials team performance through diverse reports
  • Elaborate and present clear to build analysis to customers
  • Work closely with program management and materials management areas to release MRP execution to purchasing on a weekly basis
  • Analyze demand from customers and determine if demand can be built based on materials availability and schedules
  • Upload data to MRP system following guidelines provided by materials and program management
  • Work closely with purchasing team to improve material arrivals
  • Awareness and tracking of lead times
  • Submit CTB to program manager and production control for production plan elaboration
  • Analyze and authorize ECOs to Product Engineering team
  • Excess and obsolete analysis and implement corrective actions when required
  • Inventory data projection
  • Assist in auditing data for accuracy and preparing summary reports, spreadsheets, graphics, and charts
  • May assist in preparing recommendations to management based on data research
  • Proactively identify and escalate potential issues related to metrics
Requirements
  • Related electronics manufacturing industry experience
  • Related experience in materials
  • BA/BS or equivalent degree
  • Strong data analysis knowledge
  • Strong MRP knowledge
  • Advanced English
  • Assertive communication skills to internal and external customers
  • Able to build strong relationships
  • Strong experience in efficient control
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with databases such as Kinaxis is a plus
