**Job Summary**

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a skilled Facilities Technician B to join our team in Tijuana. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on refrigeration, heating, and compressor equipment, adhering to established work instructions and procedures.

• Identify and promptly address faults in the hydraulic system to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical control faults to minimize equipment downtime and optimize system efficiency.

• Install and commission medium-level electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including 220V/480V contacts, high-pressure air intakes, and water intakes.

• Collaborate with the facilities team to develop and implement process improvements that enhance work efficiency and productivity.

**Requirements:**

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a positive and inclusive work culture.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in using advanced measurement equipment, such as calipers, manometers, and laser measurement devices.
