Accessibility Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Accessibility Tester to join our team at Tekshapers Software Solutions Pvt Ltd. As an Accessibility Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our digital content meets accessibility standards, making it usable for people with disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accessibility testing and WCAG guidelines, as well as direct experience testing websites and apps for WCAG 2.0/2.1 conformance. They should also have a thorough understanding of W3C standards-compliant HTML and CSS, experience with Web Accessibility Evaluation Tools and assistive technologies, and knowledge of Deque tools (aXe, Assure/Comply, or Worldspace) preferred.

Key responsibilities include testing digital content on various browsers, mobile devices, and assistive technologies, ensuring quality and integrity of Google internal products, working with different teams across multiple projects and platforms, executing use cases, logging bugs, tracking progress, and verifying issue resolutions.

In addition, the successful candidate will be able to research and recommend solutions in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and iOS/Android development best practices. This is a contract position with a duration of 12 months and a salary range of $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per month.
