Job Summary
This role is responsible for leading and overseeing the work of a group of Automation Design Engineers. The successful candidate will review and approve design drawings, user manuals, and installation manuals, while working closely with Project Managers/Engineers to meet project timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the work of a group of Automation Design Engineers.
- Review and approve design drawings, user manuals, and installation manuals.
- Work closely with Project Managers/Engineers to meet project timelines and budgets.
- Lead the team in review, understanding, and interpretation of requirements to ensure all specifications are integrated into the design of automation equipment.
- Lead design engineers in review of design and manufacturability of design.
- Ensure all engineering times are logged into JP2 and correspond to the projects.
Requirements
Knowledge Requirements
- Expert knowledge in the EMS industries.
- Expert knowledge in automation design and installation.
Education & Experience Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mechanical or Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 8-10 years of working experience in automation equipment design and installation.
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
